se euxaristo kurie Promithea, I don't want to be a pain , but I was after something a little more comprehensive in regards to countries and the years the passed the legislation to recognize the Pontian and/ or Greek Genocide.
I know a South American country recognizes the Pontian genocide, but I cannot remember which one Having said that, I was quite surprised that the Armenian government has yet to recognize the Pontian Greek genocide. Greece was among the first nations to recognize the Armenian genocide. |

That's a good question. I'd be equally curious to know. Interestingly here in the USA the Pontian Greeks don't seem to have a lobby. For that matter neither do the Greeks as a whole as far as I am aware of. The Armenians have the Armenian National Committee of America. Visit: Armenian National Committee. I wasn't thrilled in how they supported Obama in the 2008 elections. I think they've learned something by this (I should hope, no guarantees).
